A Fair and Social Job Transition
February 9, 2021 @ 19:30 - 21:00
The Climate Coalition is happy to invite you to their first event of their webinar series!!! During this event we will discuss our demand on a FAIR and SOCIAL TRANSITION and all together we will engage in a brainstorm on how to implement it. 🙌
As society becomes increasingly aware of the consequences of global warming, our lifestyles and behaviours are raising more and more questions. These questions can sometimes turn into real challenges, as it is in the case of shifting to more sustainable and fairer jobs. During this event, various speakers will share their knowledge on the matter: How do we make such a transition? What does this imply exactly? How to do so without hurting the economy?
This subject is important as climate change not only involves changes in various environments, such as the workplace, but directly concerns every active worker. As a part of the audience you will have the opportunity to share your ideas and solutions during the Q&A session, which will aim to fight this issue on the local level. At the end of the session, a report will be sent to the municipality.
Save the date and help our city to become fair and socially just!💚🌱
